Julius Eastman: That Which is Fundamental (Highlights)

Last month, I had the honor to take part in a guitar ensemble version of "Gay Guerilla", a piece that was originally performed on 4 pianos, by the composer Julius Eastman. I came across his work several years ago doing a random YouTube search and, to be quite honest, the title of his pieces caught my eye, and I had to know what this guy was all about (he had his reasons). If you have never heard of Julius, I highly suggest that you look him up -- and "stay on it".
